Course Description

Concepts and techniques that focus on How to Do Things with Grammar in Spanish. Analysis of the most basic elements in a sentence: nouns, adjectives, and verbs, followed by the exploration of a freer style of expression as it appears in contemporary usage. The finer uses of verb tenses, mood, aspect, and voice will be studied in addition to the semantic aspects of the language, such as sense, reference, implication, word relations, and logical form. Conducted in Spanish. Prerequisite: Spanish 121 or consent of the instructor.
