Course Description

Second in a series of courses on the use and study of American Sign Language (ASL). Emphasizes basic expressive and receptive conversational skills through active student participation. Storytelling is included. Special emphasis on developing more awareness of the cultural values and beliefs shared by the Deaf and DeafBlind Communities. Attendance at events in the Deaf and DeafBlind communities is required. Prerequisite: ASL 124 or ASL Placement Test or instructor permission.
