Section Notes

Surveys the history of Boston from the colonial era to the recent past. Examines the legacy of Puritanism, the city’s role in the Revolutionary War, the immigrant experience, reform movements, race relations, urban planning, sports, and politics.

High School Students: This section is also open to high school students who are in 11th or 12th grade. High school students who wish to enroll in a course will be asked to submit a high school transcript, recommendation from a teacher, parental permission and other required consent forms BEFORE they are enrolled in the course.
