UCOE 0120 - Accelerated Development of Excellence in Physical Therapy
Course Description
The Accelerated Development of Excellence in Physical Therapy (ADEPT) Program, a 12-week online certificate designed to support students pursuing a DPT degree, is offered through the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences (department that oversees Tufts’ Doctor of Physical Therapy programs) in partnership with University College.
This pre-entrance program:

Prepares you for the rigors of an accelerated hybrid DPT program (like Tufts’ programs)

Helps you develop key study and success skills,

Enhances your academic outcomes, including degree completion and performance on the NPTE exam.

Provides personalized support from dedicated advisors and peer mentors, you'll have access to a support network committed to helping you succeed every step of the way.
Basic Enrollment Requirements: This program is designed for students who are planning to apply to or enroll in a DPT program within the following year.
Refund Policy: The refund policy for this program is as follows:

Withdrawal prior to the start date of the program: 100% refund

Withdrawal on the start date or later: 0% refund
Remission Eligible: Not eligible.
This is an online course that is primarily asynchronous with one 2-hour synchronous session per week. Tufts virtual courses are designed to provide high-quality, flexible, and interactive courses to Tufts and visiting students. This course will meet synchronously each week on Tuesdays from 3:00-5:00PM ET.
