Welcome to the Tufts Masterclass Application. We are delighted by your interest in this immersive learning experience designed for accomplished adult learners.

Program Overview 

Each Masterclass Week is a curated, immersive experience that showcases Tufts University’s intellectual innovation, research excellence, and interdisciplinary approach to learning. The program is designed to foster deep engagement, meaningful dialogue, and lasting community. 

Core elements of the Masterclass experience include: 

• Thematic Seminars & Mini-Courses: Oxford-style sessions led by Tufts faculty, visiting scholars, and practitioners.  
• Campus Immersions: Insider access to laboratories, studios, archives, clinics, and live research or creative projects.  
• Dialogues: Fireside conversations with emerging and established thought leaders.  
• Field Experiences (contingent on topic): Off-campus learning extensions into Boston-area museums, policy hubs, and cultural institutions.  
• Community & Recognition: Induction as Tufts Masterclass Fellows, including priority access to future offerings.  
• Concierge Experience: White-glove logistical support, curated dining experiences, accessibility accommodations, and a dedicated learning concierge.  

Each Masterclass Week culminates in a closing salon and networking event, providing participants the opportunity to synthesize insights, reflect on their learning, and build meaningful connections.
