2026 STEM Career Academy

STEM Career Advantage Academy (online)

The STEM Career Advantage Academy consists of two parts: 1) Summer Session (8 hours/week synchronous online learning) and 2) followed by a 9-month Mentoring Program with industry practitioners

The STEM Career Advantage Academy provides students with a competitive edge by supplementing their technical training with workplace mindsets, communication strategies, and leadership skills. Participants learn how to: 

• Understand and exceed manager expectations 
• Navigate unfamiliar workplace situations with confidence 
• Communicate your value clearly and professionally 
• Negotiate for opportunities, resources, and feedback 
• Build productive relationships in technical teams

Ideal Candidates for the Program are:

1. Highly committed undergraduate student OR Advanced (final year) high school student with a strong interest in a career in STEM
2. Planning to start an internship or job in STEM in the next 18 months
3. Willing to commit and participate in the program for its duration

Early admission:  March 1, 2026

Regular admission:  June 5, 2026
