This course is intended for high school science instructors as part of the Teaching the Great Diseases program. Pre-requisites: It is recommended that students have a basic understanding of cell biology (how cells use receptors to sense their environment and communicate). This course aligns with Infectious Disease Unit 5: How do we get better? of the Great Diseases high school curriculum.
