Course Description

For students who have had an introductory experience working on the potter's wheel and now want to strengthen and refine their technical skills, as well as develop one's voice in creating clay vessels. This course will focus on repetition, production, and creating a variety of forms to become more confident in throwing forms with thinner walls. Through critiques and discussions, students will be encouraged to look at the forms with more critical eyes and develop more artistic expression in making vessels. Level: advanced beginner.
